SAQA FIERCE PLANETS - Laurie Fagen’s art quilt “Sun with Mercury” is one of 42 pieces juried into the “Fierce Planets” show for Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA), an international organization of art quilters. The show premiered at the Louisiana State University Museum and will travel until 2028. Fagen's image is a photo from an original painting by the late artist Bonnie Lou Coleman, digitally transferred to fabric and heavily thread-painted with metallic and rayon threads. 

This exhibition will travel until end of 2027

SACRED THREADS: "Eye Contact: creating a connection," has finished its almost 5 years of traveling, and the two pieces are home.
