SAQA FIERCE PLANETS - Laurie Fagen’s art quilt “Sun with Mercury” is one of 42 pieces juried into the “Fierce Planets” show for Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA), an international organization of art quilters. The show premieres at the Louisiana State University Museum of Art through July 28 and will travel until 2028. Fagen's image is a photo from an original painting by the late artist Bonnie Lou Coleman, digitally transferred to fabric and heavily thread-painted with metallic and rayon threads. 

This exhibition will travel until end of 2027

CEANGAL/CONNECTIONS  An eight-person art exhibit with four artists from Arizona and four from Ireland is now at the Chandler Museum Gallery through July 20, 2025 following an exhibit in Tullamore in 2024. It's part of the Chandler Tullamore Sister Cities Art & Culture project between Chandler and Tullamore.
